St Albans Registry Office – 2 Hour Wedding

When I was asked if I could photograph a wedding at St Albans Registry office on Thursday but they just wanted me for two hours I was more than happy to do it.

I suggested that I could take the getting ready photographs at their house first as they were only five minutes away from St Albans Registry Office.  It was a challenge in the short time to get enough getting ready photographs (half an hour) then to the St Albans Registry Office, The Ceremony, Group Shots and I even managed to fit in some Just the Two of Us photographs in 15 minutes.  Well I am very pleased with the 149 photographs they have received on their CD in high resolution and here are just some from that selection of their Wedding Day.

St Michaels Manor Winter Wedding Photography

It was lovely to kick start my wedding photography year with a wedding at one of my favourite venues – St Michaels Manor Hotel St Albans.  I really love shooting weddings here.  The venue is stunning and the grounds are beautiful with many places to have your wedding photographs done and what I love best is how it feels like the whole hotel belongs to just the wedding party that day.  Well doing the wedding here on 28th January was very cold outside but no rain and lovely sunshine so I don’t think the Bride & Groom could have asked for anything better in January.  Richard and Jackie were such an easy couple to be with that photographing them was a pleasure.  Here are just a few of their photographs from their special day:

Opening Night for Mile House Events shop in St Albans

Lifes2good micropedi photo session

I was asked last week by a company Lifes2good to photograph their new product Micropedi.  They asked me to shoot some feet before using the Micropedi, using it, then afterwards to see the results.  I had never heard of the product before but was amazed at how easy it was to use, how quick and that it really did give smooth feet immediately even on the worse case of dry and flaky skin.  I have not used photoshop to change any of the images of the feet, I have purely just used contrast and colour so they look their best.  What you see here on just a few is what actually happened on the night: each two photos show the before then the after-

Hertfordshire Newborn Baby Photographs

After taking the maternity photographs for a lovely mother to be it was a pleasure to come back and take some of them with their newborn baby girl.  It always takes patience and love to capture photographs of a little baby but it is always worth the wait.
